The latest ~~half-arsed rehash~~ exciting new installment of the Animal Crossing series is coming our way this year sometime (well it’s coming my way anyway, who knows when the big N will see fit to throw a few copies over to Europe. Anyway, here’s some scans showing how the ~~N64~~ Wii game is shaping up. Be sure to look at the super big originals so you can take in just how awesome this is going to be. No need for translations, you know what you’re going to get.

Exciting new additions are:

You can look up at the sky.

You can take pictures.

Christmas is back.

You can wear a melon on your head.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the series and I really get into it once I’m there, but……they are giving us a game that looks and plays almost exactly the same as the N64 version that came out in Japan years ago. Whatever, it’s a day one purchase but still *grumble grumble*

Also Elebits 2 on DS. Not sure how this is going to go seeing as how the biggest attraction of the Wii game was pointing the remote at the screen and throwing things around.
