Right, I’ve been away for three weeks I’m tired, so this post is short but sweet. I spent two and a half weeks in the south of France, very boring. On the way back I stayed in Paris for one night (bear with me). As myself and my family sat on the metro at about 11 o’clock at night a teen got on and sat next to me, there was an annoying busker near the back of the train so the teen’s ipod was on very loud. I could hear the voices of none other than our WiiDS team.
I gave him a tap on the shoulder as I couldn’t resist talking to him; he told me he was a huge fan of Nintendo and, of course, the show. He and his English class at his high school were using WiiDS to practice their English and the idea, he told me, was brought up by their sister school in Germany who also use WiiDS (as well as some other English speaking podcasts) to listen to examples of spoken English.
I think a congratulations is in order to everybody on the WiiDS podcast team, WiiDS is used for education and entertainment, around the world none the less.
