The WiiDS Podcast – LIVE!

Oh yes, we’re that ambitious.

This Thursday, at 8pm, head over to tinyurl.com/WiiDSPodcastLive for a rather special offering of your favourite Nintendo podcast. James, Mani and Haff will be broadcasting live from a top secret location (James’ living room).

But that’s not all…! Jack, Jason, Tom and Daan will (hopefully) be joining us via their own webcams, making this the first episode of our beloved podcast to have every host online at the same time. And we apologise in advance for lag.

But that’s not all…! You can take part too. Head to the link and a chat window will appear, allowing you to comment on anything we say or ask us any questions. We’ll even read out anything we want to include in the show.

But that’s not all…! But it is all we’ll tell you for now. So join us this Thursday for the most ambitious (and probably problematic) WiiDS Podcast ever!

And tell your friends.m,

Pokemon RoundupPokePark Wii – Pikachu’s Great Adventure

Information has been leaked on a blog from Nintendo’s retail conference of a new Pokemon game on the Wii. It is said to be released in Japan on December 5th in Japan. Sadly not much is known yet about the game, other than you will use Pokemon to help you operate the attractions in the park.

And now for a little something I made yesterday

roundupWOW!

Firstly, many apologies. I have been away for just over a week, without the internet, and I got home yesterday to find a bucket load of Pokemon news. My friends, HeartGold and SoulSilver are HERE!

So where to start? I’m not quite sure, because I could potentially spoil the games from anything I tell you. Meaning I have to tread very carefully.

What made the second generation stand out from all the rest, was day to night feature, mobile phone, radio, introducing berries, in Crystal the first chance to play as a girl (which is why Crystal is my favorite), a nice 16 badges to collect traveling back to Kanto, and the introduction of baby Pokemon eggs. The day/night feature was lost in Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald and FireRed/LeafGreen leaving only a clock to determine the time, this was a nice return to the DS games. But I feel the biggest and most amazing feature of Gold and Silver were the fact you could go back to Kanto and collect a further 8 badges. This return – not to mention the extra 200+ Pokemon – will add a lot more depth and gameplay to the game, meaning you will have to put in a lot of hours to be the very best…like no one ever was. By reading the news and looking at the screenshots, these new games will bring loads of memories back to the old school players, and I hope this will bring back many of those players Nintendo had lost.

If you have played the originals, these will be an essential purchase. The argument I hear a lot is ‘its just a revamped old game I have already played’, but with all the new features such as the ‘Pokethlon’ and the ‘PokeWalker’ accessory, the new Pokemon games have more to offer then just an RPG.

The Machop is still building in Vermillion City.
Here is a nice video of how the game starts, watch at your own risk of spoiling it for yourself.

Pokemon Rumble

The name known in Japan as ‘Melee! Pokemon Scramble!’ has just been annouced as ‘Pokemon Rumble’ for the US (and most probably Europe aswell). The price will be 1500 nintendo points, but sadly no release date has been given.

New Pokemon Trailers

Apologies for the lack of Pokemon Round-ups. There just hasnt been anything I feel worth posting :( . With only seven days till HG SS release in Japan, I have never been so tempted to import. I can’t read Japanese though sadly. ‘Til next time.

roundupFirst HeartGold and SoulSilver Event

Pokemon Sunday in Japan have announced details of the very first event for the upcoming games. This event will let you enter the ‘Yellow Forest’ area on the PokeWalker. This forest is inhabited by only Pikachu, but you may find a Pikachu with a special move. This is due to take place September 18th to November 10th.

Member Card Event

Attention Pokemon Platinum owners! You are now able to download the Member Card over Nintendo WiFi in order to get your very own Darkrai! Event will be going on from now till September 13th.

Oooohhhh Mysterious Games I wana get close to you…

The three WiiWare Mysterious Dungeon games have now been release in Japan. Nintendo are going to be launching special events to get Pokemon in these games, such as Mew.

Pokemon Village Fete

Just a quick reminder these events may be coming to an area near you, like it did me. Yesterday I caught the train with my boyfriend to go to the Bristol event. There I met many cool guys, all of which surprisingly older then myself (I think), one guy also had the amazingly cool Diagla and Palkia DS Lite and the Pokemon Park DS. Also got some free Pokemon Cards, and met someone very special indeed…..

Pokemon Round up 3/7/09

Here I am again, folks (against all odds, as the phone company is changing our line so I had no internet) to bring you this week’s Pokemon happenings.

Release me!
Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver will be hitting Japanese shelves on September 12th this year. The pack will include the new PokeWalker accessory and ship for 4800 yen.

Well, sadly, yet again this week’s news has been slow. Hopefully it will pick back up again as we get closer to HG SS release. Till next time!

Heya folks, its been a very quite week in the Pokemon world this week, so sadly I have no news to bring you :( but, don’t panic!
